Lumion Captures of the School and the Valley
Bridge and main school building.
A view of the environment from the folly situated on the valley floor
Main school building which contains the lecture theater, studio spaces, workshops, computer labs, all meeting rooms and library. As you can see it is an enormous building with much of it being open-air, in order to blur the boundary between interior and exterior spaces. I also used the shape of rising spikes or stalactites in all of these structures to symbolize the way knowledge allows us to rise up in today's world.
Lecture space, partly open-air.
View of the Dean's lunch space from the elevator
View of the folly and the valley. I chose the soft blue colour in order to provide the illusion that the folly is at one with the water it sits on, as well as to give it a more relaxing feel, as it is a lunch space.
Office areas are located in this building
This office space is located much closer to lunch space, for the Dean's convenience
The inside of the bridge is also a gallery
Partly open air bridge
Elevator connecting the bridge/gallery to the folly. The two adjacent cables are electromagnetic and lift the elevator into the air. When this elevator is lowered it floats on the water and becomes a boat that travels to the Dean's lunch space.

News Articles Mash-Up
In order to portray an air of optimism lightness and joy, or
any feeling, architects utilise external spaces.
Architecture is often influenced by a cultural, historical
and environmental context , which is determined by prevailing personal values
and practical facilities. Therefore the design and location will incorporate a
sense of uniqueness and universality. Even in the most challenging of
locations, there are always resource
networks which must be considered, which incorporate value and design, to
create unique and visionary design solutions.

Draft Bridges and Valley
I decided to go for a monumental look with high bridges that oversee the rest of the valley. However i tried to make sure these bridges did not overpower the nature, but rather exist with it.

Final Submission of Both Monuments

I decided to go with a tropical island landscape with my monument
attached to a cliff face. I wanted my Wren monument to be very in-tune with
it's surroundings, whilst maintaining a sense of awe and mystery. The
dense tropical forest provides a sense of mystery, and as you proceed
towards the monument, the forest becomes much more open and allows the
viewer to take it all in. The shape of the monument is a little
mysterious as although it looks man made, it could almost pass off for a
series of naturally shaped stones, or a building made by an unknown
civilization.
Electroliquid Aggregation My conceptual inspiration for the Wren monument came from his belief that architecture was "More than a set of rules and formulas, but a combination of reason, intuition, experience and imagination". This explains the larger than life design and placement of this monument and its mysterious shape.
For the Nouvel monument, i wanted the building to "Harmonize with its sites and surrounds", and aimed to instill the building comfortably within the landscape.
I drew inspirtaion from their unique styles to create mysterious, imaginative shapes that are installed within the landscape.
